Political Structure

The Hemophilia & Thrombosis Research Society (HTRS) is incorporated in Wisconsin. The society is overseen by the Executive Committee that is comprised of the officers and at–large representatives elected from the membership.

The HTRS meets annually in conjunction with the HTRS symposium. This symposium is usually held in April at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

There are 5 subcommittees of the HTRS. The Hemostasis and Thrombosis subcommittees review and oversee research protocols within each respective discipline. The Registry Oversight committee manages the HTRS inhibitor registry. The Communications committee is in charge of the HTRS newsletter and the website. The Nominating committee is charged with developing a slate of officers and at–large representatives to the Board of Directors.
