TThe Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is recruiting for a new faculty member in nonmalignant hematology. Fellowship training in non-malignant hematology is required. We have a superb, federally-funded Hemophilia Treatment Center and are most interested in applicants with interest and experience in hemostasis and thrombosis. However, additional areas of academic interest that fit particularly well with current goals include thrombosis and malignancy, bleeding and thrombosis in women, platelet disorders, and immune-mediated hematologic disorders. Clinical activities are central to the position, but applicants are expected to participate in division research activities.
