Assistant/Associate Professor - Benign Hematology
The University of Minnesota Physicians, the Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation (HOT) and the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota, are seeking an academic medical hematologist/oncologist with training and experience in Benign Hematology. The ideal candidate will have translational research experience and clinical expertise in the treatment and research related to benign hematology, as well as independently obtained research funding. We are seeking an individual with an interest in clinical research who can thrive in the team-based environment of the University of Minnesota Medical School. This individual will assume a key leadership role in the development, implementation, and supervision of innovative research projects and clinical trials in the treatment of hematologic disorders. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate with research team members involved in support of critical research goals. This individual will participate also in the inpatient and outpatient clinical care of hematology/oncology patients as well as teaching of medical students and post-graduate trainees.
