Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Faculty Positions - Department of Pediatrics
The Department of Pediatrics at the Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children's Hospital (HCH) and Alpert Medical School of Brown University announce the following Pediatric Hematology/Oncology faculty positions:
- Attending Physician, Hematology (Director of Comprehensive Hemoglobinopathy Program)
- Fellowship Program Director (greater than 5 years of faculty experience required)
Responsibilities include hematology/oncology patient care, teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents and pediatric hematology/oncology fellows. All faculty will be expected to pursue scholarly activities in clinical or laboratory research or education, with the support of the HCH mentoring program, and senior faculty will be expected to continue these activities.
The candidate would join a fully staffed and growing multidisciplinary team that includes 8 physicians, 5 NPs/PA and a dedicated support staff that ensures high-quality, expert care for our patients. Clinical, correlative and translation laboratory research efforts will be supported. The position will be afforded a minimum of 20% protected time for research or education as appropriate to the successful applicant's interests and experience.
