The Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center, Inc. (IHTC) is currently seeking a Pediatric Hematologist to join our comprehensive care team. The IHTC is committed to providing the highest quality, comprehensive services and holistic care to patients with bleeding, clotting and other hematologic disorders, and to their families. The IHTC is an independent outpatient clinic that serves the entirety of Indiana as the only designated HTC treatment center in the state. We are a leader in patient care, education and clinical research. Our medical program serves a broad based population with an extensive array of benign hematologic conditions such as hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, sickle cell disease, and other bleeding and clotting disorders – including rare conditions.
This individual will join a team of 17 physicians - consisting of 8 pediatric hematologists, 7 adult hematologists, and 2 adult hospitalists - as well as 13 advanced practice providers. Our Center also has dedicated on-site multidisciplinary staff to assure availability of the wide range of required services for high quality, comprehensive care. The IHTC offers an attractive compensation and benefits package. Employees can anticipate an annual cash incentive opportunity—in addition to base pay—as well as a generous retirement benefit.
Clinical responsibilities for the Pediatric Hematologist include care of an outpatient panel and coverage on rotational basis for:
- On-call responsibility, including weekends
- Inpatient services for IHTC patients admitted to our collaborating institutions
- Inpatient consultative services
The successful candidate will:
- Have completed their fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology, or is planning to complete by July 2022
- Currently hold or be eligible for unrestricted Indiana medical and DEA/CSR licensure
- Be board certified in hematology or eligible to sit for board exam

- This position may be eligible for a J-1 waiver (pending J-1 waiver application availability and approval)
