The Department of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine and the Mayo Clinic Children’s Center are seeking a Pediatric Hematologist to join the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Mayo Clinic is a NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with eight pediatric hematologist/oncologists. Our group is a full member of the Children’s Oncology Group and is a COG-approved hematopoietic stem cell transplantation center. Our Division sees approximately 200 newly diagnosed patients a year and there are opportunities for collaboration with other subspecialties within the Cancer Center. Mayo Clinic offers excellent teaching opportunities with our medical students, residents and fellows. Academic rank in the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine will be granted commensurate with experience.
Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology with outstanding clinical and teaching skills, and experience in basic, clinical or translational research. Minimum academic rank of Assistant Professor is preferred. Candidate must also have an interest/experience in Benign Hematology including Diagnosis and Management of Coagulation and Hemoglobin Disorders.
