Physician - Lead the Pediatric Platelet Disorders Program
The Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine is seeking a physician to lead the Pediatric Platelet Disorders program at Weill Cornell-New York Presbyterian. This program is very well established and has been at the forefront of pioneering research in novel agents to treat thrombocytopenia of various etiologies for about 3 decades. The Division has a growing pediatric hematology-oncology program, with dedicated centers of excellence in red cell disorders, disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, and pediatric oncology. The physician will be part of the clinical pediatric hematology oncology program, with in- and outpatient responsibilities, and an established and growing cohort of primary patients with platelet disorders. Physicians must be Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology /Oncology and have at least 5 years experience post fellowship, with specific clinical and research experience and expertise in the management of platelet disorders in children.
