Yale Hemophilia Treatment Center and Yale Pediatric Hemostasis Clinic
Famiy Nurse Practitioner
The Yale Hemophilia Treatment Center and Yale Pediatric Hemostasis Clinic has an open full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) position. Our program follows over 1500 patients with a variety of bleeding and thrombotic disorders in our outpatient clinic. This includes over 90 hemophilia patients ages newborn to 75 years old. We have an additional 250+ patients with von Willebrand disease and rare bleeding disorders. As we have nearly doubled our hemophilia population in the last few years, we now require the addition of an FNP who will assist in providing clinical services to both pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities will include coordination of care, telephone triage, development of treatment plans, communication with other medical providers, patient and family education, and assistance with clinical research studies.
