Postdoctoral Fellow

A postdoctoral fellow position is available in Dr. Janice Staber’s laboratory in the Stead Family Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. Dr. Staber’s NIH-funded laboratory focuses on the development and application of vector systems for the treatment of inherited disorders and the effects of cerebral microbleeds and neuroinflammation on brain structure and behavior changes in hemophilia A. Postdoctoral scholar will design, perform, and analyze experiments related to bleeding and clotting disorders and outcomes in animal models. Our laboratory aims to apply our knowledge to improve the quality of life, treatment, and outcomes for people with bleeding disorders.
