 Registration

 

HTRS 2023 is a comprehensive scientific hybrid meeting dedicated to the advancement of continuing education and research related to bleeding and thrombotic disorders in both pediatric and adult medicine. The Symposium will be held at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®, in Orlando, FL, from Friday, March 10, 2023, through Sunday, March 12, 2023.

HTRS anticipates an audience of 700+ attendees, in-person and virtual, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, residents and fellows, and coagulation laboratory technicians from the U.S., Canada, and abroad dedicated to the diagnosis, management, and research of bleeding and thrombotic disorders.

HTRS Trainee Workshop

HTRS is now accepting applications from trainees (medical residents and fellows) who wish to attend the hybrid HTRS 2023 Trainee Workshop on March 8-9, 2023 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld® hotel.  

This Workshop is open to 30 MDs or DOs interested in building careers in hemostasis and/or thrombosis in either pediatric or adult medicine. Interested participants should submit an application via the HTRS Trainee Workshop application portal.

What to Expect: The goal of this non-CE educational event is to attract trainees to the field to benefit current and future patients with hemostatic and thrombotic disorders.  The program is a dynamic mix of case presentations by attending trainees, interactive presentations by faculty, small group breakout sessions, and time for networking.  Attendees receive free HTRS membership for the duration of their training.

HTRS Research Colloquium

Junior faculty and early-stage investigators (MDs, DOs, PhDs, and MD/PhDs) are encouraged to apply and attend the hybrid HTRS 2023 Research Colloquium on March 8-9, 2023 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld hotel®. 

The Colloquium is open to 30 MDs, PhDs, DOs, interested in further career development in hemostasis and/or thrombosis. Interested participants must submit an application via the HTRS Research Colloquium application portal.

What to Expect: This dynamic hybrid meeting will provide professional education and promote career development. Attendees will exchange ideas, establish or renew professional relationships, attend challenging scientific sessions and breakout sessions, and discuss the latest research in hemostasis and thrombosis.  

There will be a focus on networking and mentoring; participants will enjoy plenty of time to connect with peers and expert mentors dedicated to bridging the traditional "bench to bedside gap" to improve the lives of patients with disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis.

FWGBD Colloquium on Uterine Hemostasis

FWGBD’s 2023 national colloquium on uterine hemostasis will be convening leading faculty, researchers, and clinicians to review their current practices and evidence-based information on the diagnosis and optimal clinical management of uterine hemostasis among women with bleeding and clotting disorders, across the lifespan. The purpose of this meeting is to review current knowledge and practice as applied to 1) approaches to urgent bleeding events, 2) critical bleeding and clotting events through pregnancy and delivery, 3) the management of delivery for women with congenital or acquired blood disorders, with a focus on the prevention and management of postpartum hemorrhage, as well as fetal considerations at time of delivery, and 4) hematologic management through COVID.

Change in Registration

We understand that making plans is difficult these days. If your circumstances change, you can change your registration from in-person to virtual or vice versa until Friday, February 10, 2023. Changes received after this date will impact our onsite logistics.

Participants who registered previously and need to change to a new registration type may select one of the following options:

  • adjustment to current registration pricing and refund of the difference in cost
  • maintain existing registration payment and donate the difference in costs to HTRS to put toward abstract awards, or request a full refund.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your registration, all requests must be received in writing via email to [email protected] no later than February 10, 2023. All fees paid will be refunded minus a $50.00 processing fee. There will be no refunds after the February 10, 2023 deadline, except for unforeseen circumstances and medical emergencies.

In light of the world's current COVID-19 environment and its impact on in-person meetings, HTRS cannot guarantee that participants will not become infected with the extremely contagious COVID-19 virus while attending an in-person meeting, workshop, activity, or other event.

HTRS activities are designed to increase engagement, collaboration, connectivity, and community in a safe education environment. By participating in HTRS meetings and events, you agree and understand these risks and nonetheless accept them to utilize HTRS services and attend an in-person activity.  

You agree to release and waive all claims and rights against HTRS speakers, sponsors, vendors, Board of Directors, staff, and other attendees in connection with potential exposure to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, while attending HTRS in-person events or interacting firsthand with HTRS members.
