About the Award

The DREAM Award provides research funding for clinical fellows, junior faculty, and other qualified candidates conducting mentored patient-oriented research in bleeding and clotting disorders supported by the ATHN Data Warehouse and ATHN Study infrastructure. The program aims to advance understanding and treatment of rare bleeding and clotting disorders while supporting the career development of clinical investigators.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants include clinical fellows and junior faculty within five years of fellowship completion who are interested in conducting mentored research projects using ATHN resources. Applicants must be based in the U.S. and affiliated with an ATHN-affiliated institution.

Application Process

The application process includes submission of a Letter of Intent, followed by an invitation to submit a full application if selected. Applications are reviewed by the HTRS/ATHN DREAM Award Review Committee, and award recipients are selected based on the scientific merit of their proposals and their commitment to careers in hemostasis and thrombosis research.
