HTRS and The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) are pleased to announce that Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Haemostasis(RPTH) will remain an HTRS-affiliated journal for the fourth consecutive year.
This ongoing collaboration offers HTRS members the opportunity to submit original research and review articles for publication in RPTH. All accepted publications will be hosted within the journal’s “HTRS Collection.” Abstracts accepted to the biennial HTRS 2025 Scientific Symposium will also be featured in the journal, including contributions by featured Symposium speakers.
Benefits for HTRS Early-career Investigators
Each calendar year, ISTH will consider up to 10 articles authored by HTRS members and solicited under a waiver system* benefiting HTRS members
Both original research and review articles will be considered
Applications from HTRS members within 7 years of completing training will be prioritized, including members of our Clinical Fellows Network and Trainee Workshop participants
*For current rates on waiver coverage specifics regarding the time of acceptance and based on varying Elsevier publishing fees, please consult: https://www.isth.org/page/rpth
Submission and Review Process
HTRS members may submit articles at any time to be considered for publication in RPTH via this link: HTRS Research and Review Articles Submissions Form
The HTRS Publications Committee will meet quarterly to review submitted articles.
If the Committee approves a publication for submission to RPTH and deems it eligible for waiver, HTRS will require authors to sign an agreement to meet benchmarks for draft-through-final submission deadlines to retain waiver eligibility
If a submission is accepted for publication after RPTH’s peer review, then HTRS will cover publication fees as per the waiver
