Dr. Samelson Jones is a pediatric hematologist focused on improving the lives of children with bleeding and clotting disorders. He provides clinical care to patients and researches new ways to treat these maladies, including laboratory studies investigating the interactions between coagulation factor VIII and factor IX and clinical studies on gene therapy for hemophilia A and hemophilia B. Dr. Samelson Jones is the Chair of the HTRS Gene Therapy Workshop Committee, a 2015 recipient of the HTRS Mentored Research Award, and has served as an abstract reviewer and a reviewer for the HTRS Mentored Research Award.
