
Magdalena Lewandowska, MD, CACP

Dr. Lewandowska is a classical hematologist at IHTC/Innovative Hematology, one of the largest federally recognized hemophilia treatment centers in the United States. The IHTC serves a large population of patients with bleeding disorders and thrombosis. She conducts clinical research, with a particular interest in rare bleeding disorders. She serves as the adult lead for the FWGBD Learning Action Network (LAN) clinic and as director of the Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) Center of Excellence program at IHTC. She has served as a speaker at state, regional, national, and international conferences.
Dr. Lewandowska has a passion for medical education, serving as the physician lead for IHTC rotations for Yale University through the ASH Hematology-Focused Fellowship Training Program, Indiana University fellows, Ascension St. Vincent residents, and Marion University medical students. She serves on the board of directors for the Physician Partners Hemophilia Academy. She serves on the Medical and Scientific Advisory Council (MASAC), World Federation of Hemophilia living guidelines steering committee, WFH gene therapy panel, and WFH subcommittee on hemostatic agents.
