M. Elaine Eyster, MD, FACP

Dr. Eyster is a distinguished professor of medicine and pathology who celebrated 50 years at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 2020. She was one of the first faculty members in hematology to join the College of Medicine in 1970.
Dr. Eyster established the Hemophilia Treatment Center of Central Pennsylvania in 1973. Her research has been vital to understanding HIV infection in patients with hemophilia.
