Position Overview
The Mayo Clinic Division of Hematology in Rochester, Minnesota seeks to recruit a physician (MD or MD/PhD) with interest in Classical Hematology. Eligible candidates will focus research, practice, and education efforts on classical hematologic disorders.
Additional desirable attributes include clinical experience and a track record in clinical or translational research, along with a publication record in classical hematology. The ideal candidate will be a clinician or clinician-investigator who will help expand the classical hematology practice, including care for patients with:
Autoimmune hemolytic anemia
Bleeding disorders
Hemoglobinopathies
Immune thrombocytopenia
Iron disorders
Thrombosis
Thrombotic microangiopathy
Practice Structure
The Classical Hematology group at Mayo Clinic in Rochester includes physicians, advanced practice providers, and scientists.
The position includes a balance of:
Research time
Hospital service (hematology inpatient and consult services, approximately 8 weeks per year)

Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota
