HTRS 2027 is a comprehensive, three-day scientific meeting open to all medical, research, advanced practice, and allied health professionals interested in disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis.
The HTRS 2027 theme emphasizes the importance of scientific discovery, education, mentorship, and collaboration to advance the field. As therapies evolve and patient needs change, the Symposium will focus on creating meaningful opportunities to connect experts across disciplines, inspire innovation, and support the next wave of advances in patient care and research.
The 2027 meeting marks the 15th HTRS Scientific Symposium, both a celebration of the Society’s impact and a forward-looking platform for continued progress. The program will showcase cutting-edge research, emerging clinical practices, multidisciplinary perspectives, and career development opportunities designed to support future leaders in the field.

On behalf of the HTRS Board of Directors and our Symposium Planning Committee, we are excited to welcome you to the HTRS 2027 Scientific Symposium, March 11-13, 2027, at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, Philadelphia, PA.
Celebrating Our 15th Scientific Symposium
The theme for HTRS 2027 is “Investing in the Future of Hematology.” This conference, our 15th scientific symposium, welcomes all healthcare and discovery-based research professionals to Philadelphia for continuing education, scientific exchange, networking, mentorship, and career development support. HTRS 2027 is exclusively an in-person event with no virtual option, ensuring all members of the hemostasis and thrombosis (H&T) community can fully engage in a dynamic and collaborative learning environment.
Highlights of HTRS 2027
Travel Awards are available for students, medical residents and fellows, junior faculty and early-stage investigators, individuals from underrepresented groups, and allied health and advanced practice providers from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Apply during the abstract submission process to be considered for a Travel Award.
Member-Led Workshops: An exclusive, no-cost benefit for HTRS non-industry members! Host a 90- to 120-minute session for focused committee or study section meetings, hands-on learning sessions, or in-person, educational mini-workshops on hemostasis and thrombosis topics. If you want to share innovative clinical approaches, facilitate case-based learning, explore emerging research, or address challenges facing the field, this is your chance to engage your peers and contribute to our Symposium program.
Nonprofit Exhibit Tables: We invite colleagues from other nonprofit H&T organizations to take advantage of a reduced rate to join our HTRS 2027 Exhibit Hall and share your mission and programs with attendees.
Continuing Medical Education Credits: HTRS 2027 will offer a variety of continuing education credits, including AMA PRA Category 1 credits™ for physicians, ANCC contact hours for nurses, and ACPE contact hours for pharmacists.
