2026 HTRS Student Research Award - Now Accepting Applications
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 HTRS Student Research Awards (SRAs).
These awards support short term, targeted research projects in hemostasis or thrombosis for medical students (MDs, DOs) or graduate students (PhDs, MD/PhDs, and PharmDs).
Applicants are required to outline proposed research projects in concert with an experienced mentor. It must be possible to complete the proposed project within an 8 to 10 week time frame, with exact start and end dates to be determined by the award recipient and the mentor.
While the majority of SRA recipients carry out their research projects during the summer months, applicants who are further along in their training programs may potentially conduct their research during the academic year.
All SRA research periods must be completed by March 1, 2027.
Total Award: $8,000
Application Deadline: Monday, March 23, 2026 by 11:59 PM ET
Requirements: Applicants must be HTRS Student level Members at the time of application and be willing to present the results of their SRA funded research at a national meeting.
