HTRS Board News
On behalf of the Board of Directors, our administrative team, and the HTRS membership at large, we extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Alisa S. Wolberg, PhD, for her years of service to the HTRS Board of Directors and our Society.
Dr. Wolberg was originally a Director of the North American Society for Thrombosis and Haemostasis (NASTH). In 2019, when NASTH merged with HTRS, she formally joined the HTRS Board. Since then, she has worked tirelessly to encourage discovery-based scientists to join and contribute to HTRS.
Dr. Wolberg has held high-impact leadership roles with HTRS, including an extended term as a Board Director, Chair of the Student Research Award Program, Vice Chair of the HTRS 2023 Scientific Symposium, and Chair of the HTRS 2025 Scientific Symposium. Her confident leadership and dedication to excellence is apparent in everything she does, from running committee calls, to developing multidisciplinary program agendas, to helping set governing policy.

HTRS is indebted to Dr. Wolberg for her many contributions, which have helped our Society become what it is today. We know her ongoing membership will continue to enrich HTRS for years to come. The new PhD member of the HTRS Board will have big (and very stylish!) shoes to fill. Thank you for your service, Dr. Wolberg!
