ISTH Research Awards
International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) provides multiple award and grant opportunities designed to support and advance research in thrombosis and hemostasis. Current funding opportunities include the following:
Fundamental Research Career Development Awards:
To reward and encourage early-career researchers in the field, the Society has established the Fundamental Research Career Development Award. Up to three annual awards of up to $50,000 USD will be given in the following categories:
- Fundamental Mechanisms of Thrombosis
- Fundamental Mechanisms of Hemostasis
- Non-canonical Interactions of the Hemostatic System
Fundamental Research Workshop Grants:
To strengthen fundamental - basic and mechanistic translational - research, the ISTH has established the Fundamental Research Workshop Grants to facilitate small, international meetings focusing on discrete topics within thrombosis and hemostasis. Up to three annual grants of up to $50,000 USD will be awarded.
Scientific and Standardization Committee (SSC) Grants:
ISTH prioritizes this commitment by providing funding to support and advance innovative projects of the Scientific and Standardization Committee (SSC). While the grant program is competitive, it is designed to support as many projects as possible each year, spurring advancement in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis.
