This Season, Give Back to the Community That Builds Future Leaders
When Dr. Ming Lim attended her first HTRS Scientific Symposium in 2010 as a first-year internal medicine resident, she did not know it would change the course of her career. The meeting’s intimate, welcoming environment introduced her to the field of hemostasis and thrombosis—and to a community that would support her every step of the way.
“That meeting set me on a path that has shaped my clinical and academic journey ever since,” Dr. Lim said.
Over the years, HTRS mentorship and professional development opportunities helped Dr. Lim grow from a curious trainee to a confident doctor, mentor, and leader. Now a member of the HTRS Executive Committee, she helps shape the organization that once shaped her.
“From mentorship and professional development to the relationships I’ve built, HTRS has played a significant role in shaping my career… and to support the next generation of clinicians and researchers in hemostasis and thrombosis.”
Dr. Lim’s story is just one example of how HTRS empowers members to grow, lead, and give back. As we celebrate this Season of Giving, we invite you to help HTRS continue fostering the next generation of clinicians and scientists in hemostasis and thrombosis. Your support ensures that trainees have access to the same transformative mentorship and opportunities that helped Dr. Lim thrive.
