CHAT Consortium

The Children’s Hospital Acquired Thrombosis (CHAT) Consortium is a network of 50 institutions across the U.S. united in developing the best prevention strategies and treatment practices for children with hospital-acquired venous thromboembolism (HA-VTE).

The CHAT Consortium has numerous ongoing studies and opportunities for investigators to pursue related research questions like the impact of central lines, congenital heart disease, inflammation, or immobility on HA-VTE development.
