Bethany Huntley

Engagement Manager

Bethany Huntley is Engagement Manager at the Hemostasis & Thrombosis Research Society (HTRS), where she works across grants, membership, and programs to support and grow the HTRS community. Bethany brings 13 years of progressive experience in research administration and program management, including nine years at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington. During her time at IHME, she oversaw research grants spanning a four-country evaluation program and helped manage COVID-19 forecasting efforts at the height of the pandemic. Most recently, she supported grant applications across the organization, contributing to securing $31M in funding from federal agencies and private foundations.

A graduate of Willamette University with a BA in English and French, Bethany is a self-described generalist who thrives on problem solving, process improvement, and big-picture thinking — skills she's excited to bring to the HTRS team. She is also fluent in French.

Bethany lives in Seattle, WA with her husband and their three pets: Oliver (dog), and cats Da Biscuit and Baby Kitty. Outside of work, she can be found rock climbing, growing orchids and other houseplants, reading, traveling, or cooking. She's inspired by the opportunity to support the researchers, clinicians, and allied health professionals who make HTRS such a meaningful community.
